THE HANDS BEHIND DOINK POTTERY
Jennifer McKelvey is a relative newcomer to ceramics. Doink Pottery is named after one of my cats. My work is sometimes quirky and I love trying out different forms, clays, and glazes. All my work is made with joy and creates a sense of mindfulness and presence for me.

I am a former professional ballet dancer and currently a licensed psychologist. I found ceramics about one year ago and fell in love.
Resources
Attending classes at Mighty Mud is what engendered my love of creating ceramics. It is a fantastic place with wonderful teachers and staff, and a generous, supportive community.

Barron Hall, the owner of Mighty Mud, is an incredible ceramicist and teacher. He is the person responsible for creating such a warm sense of community at Might Mud.

I have taken several classes and one-on-one lessons with Jordan Butzine at Mighty Mud. He is fun to learn from and creates beautiful and unique ceramics.

Jeremy Myles is another amazing ceramicist at Mighty Mud. He is a warm and talented and another wonderful teacher!

Starting in August of 2026 I will be a regular vendor at the Clinton, TN Farmers Market in Anderson County.
